Jaryll has 41 years of experience in the corporate environment, finding her lifetime career as a Senior Family Service Advisor in the Funeral industry with Dignity Memorial. As a Family Service Advisor, she has been able to inform and educate groups and families by means of seminars or individual sessions on the aspect of life we all eventually face, the loss of a loved one. She has given presentations to Church Groups, Educational Institutions, Financial Institutions, Assisted Living Facilities, Seniors’ Associations and many other professional and community organizations. 
Jaryll is the currently the President for the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta and is on the Executive for CARP Calgary Chapter.
Jaryll is looking forward to having the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta become the portal concierge/referral service for organizations, groups and individuals needing information and services on all elements of aging. She is looking to partner with a number of professionals who can assist our aging community and their families.
Jaryll’s belief in learning new things daily as well as sharing her knowledge has become one of her philosophies of life. Jaryll is a strong communicator and has had the opportunity to present and inform the many people she has met, new information or opportunities with the intent to enhance and simplify life. Her enthusiasm with life can sometimes be considered contagious.

Dr. Blenkhorn, Audiologist, is passionate about helping people hear what is truly important to them in life.  Dr. Blenkhorn is the President of Harp Hearing Care which she founded in 2014.  Not only does she manage Harp Hearing Care which includes 4 locally owned and operated hearing care clinics, she also works directly with patient’s and ensuring the hearing health care team is providing the best care and treatment outcomes possible. She continues to maintain a commitment to educating herself in the most sophisticated and diverse range of treatment options for hearing loss, hearing protection and communication disorders. She has 16 years of clinical and management experience, working in positions of increasing responsibility in the private practice clinical audiology sector which has included training and mentorship of professional staff, as well as maintenance of the high-quality client experience and professional services in clinics across Canada. Dr. Blenkhorn has been a member of the SRCA since its inception and continues to maintain her position with the Executive Board of Directors.  Dr. Blenkhorn is an active volunteer in the Alberta College of Speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA) and has held various positions over the years including the position of President.  She is a registered member of both ACSLPA and Speech and Audiology Canada (SAC). Dr. Blenkhorn received her Master of Clinical Science from the University of Western Ontario in 2004 and received her Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from Salus University in 2007. In 2012, the Canada Hearing Center Group of Companies recognized Dr. Blenkhorn with the Hearing Professional Contribution Award.

Christian has been working in the technology business for over 25 years after discovering a passion for technology at a young age. As technology continued to shape and grow over time, he noticed large gaps in tech-based services, especially for older adults and seniors. To bridge these gaps, Christian founded Xentas Inc. in 2014. 

Prior to founding Xentas Inc, Christian studied computer technology in Germany, where he was born and takes regular training to stay on top of the fast-paced digital world. He has a wide range of experience in different IT fields and has knowledge from Windows 95 to the current Windows 10.

His work was built on integrity and reliability, with a specific mission to reach countless people struggling with various computer and technology problems. Honesty, reliability, and comfortability are at the root of Christian’s work. 

His hands-on approach and “no one left behind” attitude aids in his continuing dedication to working with seniors.  Since the beginning Christian has put seniors first and strives to help them with great compassion by loving what he does.

Pete is the Past President of the Seniors Resource Council of Alberta (SRCA). He is also one of Canada’s Chartered Mediators and a Qualified Arbitrator, in both Canada and the United States. He has completed well over 3,000 mediations covering 13 countries and four continents.

His portfolio of high-profile mediations includes working with the U.S. soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and Germany; a firefighters’ labor dispute; a wrongful death suit; several trade agreements between Asian countries; the kidnapping of a child to Japan during a custody battle and the murder of a celebrity. 

 Pete specializes in Seniors and Family mediations – primarily on ElderCare, wills and estate disputes (Probate Mediation). He believes these are among the most emotional and heart-wrenching of all disputes.

Pete is the recently retired Executive Director of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society (AAMS). He also recently was a presiding judge at the World University Mediation Championships in Brazil.

Pete’s record of success is formidable, his reputation is well-known, his compassion is obvious to those who meet him, and his dedication to fairness, confidentiality and professionalism is absolute.
